Our 4+ Club provides a warm and encouraging introduction to school assessments for nursery-aged children. Because 4+ assessments are centred around play-based tasks, our workshops are designed to feel calm, familiar and engaging — helping children show their true potential without unnecessary pressure.

Who is this for?
Designed for children preparing for Reception entry
This programme is designed for nursery-aged children preparing for Reception entry in 2027. It is ideal for children who would benefit from gentle exposure to structured group activities, listening tasks, early academic foundations and school-readiness skills.
The aim is to help children feel settled, confident and ready to take part in assessment-style activities in a warm, supportive environment.

The 4+ Club supports both the academic and social skills children need to feel confident in early school assessment settings.
Early Literacy & Communication
Phonics, letter recognition, vocabulary building, listening and verbal expression.
Early Numeracy & Reasoning
Foundational number concepts, shapes, early problem-solving and pattern recognition.
School Readiness & Independence
Confidence separating from parents, following instructions and navigating a new environment.
Social Confidence & Fine Motor Skills
Sharing, turn-taking, collaboration, pencil control and hands-on learning tasks.

Warm, purposeful and reassuring
At this age, confidence matters just as much as knowledge. Sessions are designed to feel nurturing and familiar, while still introducing the core listening, communication and early-learning skills children need for Reception entry.

Please note: For our youngest learners, a parent or carer may be asked to remain on-site during the session to help children feel fully settled and supported.
